Manufacturer Warranty

Products from MBL Akustikgeräte GmbH & Co. KG are high-quality products, which are developed and manufactured according to the highest quality standards. In the unlikely event that you as a customer have to complain about a defective product, you have a warranty claim against the dealer from whom you purchased the product. In addition, as the manufacturer, we warrant the product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 5 years from the date of purchase from the authorized MBL dealer. This warranty includes, at our option, repair (parts and labor) or replacement of the product, if necessary, free of charge. The warranty is tied to the product; it is transferred to the buyer in the event of resale within the warranty period, without extending the warranty period. Further claims are not covered by this warranty.

In the event of a warranty claim, the defective device must be sent to MBL free of charge in its original packaging within the warranty period or handed over to the authorized MBL dealer for forwarding to MBL. The costs for the return transport shall be borne by MBL. The warranty period begins with the purchase of the new product from the authorized MBL dealer. To prove the date of purchase, the purchaser can register his product with MBL (www.mbl.de/product-registration) or use a copy of the original invoice when purchasing new with the date of purchase and serial number included on it.

Warranty services are excluded if the damage was caused by improper handling, packaging, installation or connection as well as by other than the intended use according to the manual or by faulty or unsuitable connection devices (e.g. music devices). Likewise, warranty services are excluded if damage has been caused by falling, impact, accident, lightning, water, fire, heat, power surges or other unintended effects on the device, or if the device has been tampered with by persons not authorized by MBL, or if the type designation or serial number on the device has been removed, altered or made illegible.

This warranty is provided by MBL Akustikgeräte GmbH & Co. KG, Kurfürstendamm 182, 10707 Berlin, Germany. It is subject to the application of German law (including the provisions of international private law) to the exclusion of the provisions of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). For all disputes arising from or in connection with this declaration as well as the business relationship, the place of jurisdiction shall - as far as possible - be Berlin.

This warranty supplements any national or regional legal obligations of dealers and does not restrict the legal rights of the customer in any way (e.g. warranty claims against the dealer).
